The council is developing an Integrated Transport and Land Use Strategy, which involves planning for future population growth, and it wants residents' ideas and feedback.
The council wants to hear from people who drive, catch public transport or ride bikes, to learn of their ideas of how to improve all of Bendigo's transport options.
The workshop will also consider land use ideas, such as planting more trees, promoting residential development in the CBD and promoting infill development on old mine sites.
The council will ask residents to consider their vision for the city and how it can be achieved, keeping in mind the population is expected to grow in coming years.
People who want to attend should register by emailing strategyunit@bendigo.vic.gov.au or calling 5434 6148.
The workshop starts at 7pm.
