The Thunder will take on the Sharks at the uniquely-named Peanut Farm Reserve in St Kilda.
Bendigo’s debut premier division season is all about taking small steps.
While the Thunder copped another hiding last week, going down to the Eastern Devils by 112 points, they managed to score three times.
Before last week, the Thunder had scored just once in their first four games.
The Sharks sit in fourth position on the ladder and last week won their second game of the season when they beat VU St Albans by 22 points.
“We’re starting to look towards the future by giving some of the girls in the Bendigo Youth Girls competition senior experience with us,” Thunder coach Russell Jeffrey said.
“And that’s what this year is all about... gaining experience to build for the future.
“Like every week, we’ll be out there having a crack.”
