She enjoyed the special milestone with three-month-old Charlie in her arms and family and friends from across Australia by her side.
More than 60 people gathered at Elm Aged Care in Flora Hill for the celebration.
Sunday also marked the day all six of Lil's children were together under one roof in 10 years.
Lil's eldest son Brian Oster said his mother had a charming personality with a "gracious and loving nature".
"She is a very strong person and always has a soft spot for the under dog," he said.
"Friends always comment on her beauty, cheerful smile and charm."
Mr Oster reminisced on his mother's hobbies over the years.
"She is a wonderful cook because she lived through the Depression and war years - she was able to conjure up a beautiful meal out of nothing," he said.
"When her fingers were more nimble she enjoyed knitting and crochet."
Mr Oster said Lil had 16 grandchildren.
"Eventually she gained 30 great-grandchildren who she loves and enjoys," he said.
One of Lil's 16 grand-children Jane Strauch said family was the absolute focus of her life.
