BENDIGO Home Expo Leisure Roadshow manager Jeff Leech said Friday bought a record 5000 people through the doors.
"I think the weather had a lot to do with it but the exhibitors were very happy with it," he said.
"It went beautifully and was a very good day."
Kitchens, caravans, camping equipment, spas, and stalls all had strong starts to the three-day expo.
Mr Leech said he was excited for the first-time visitors.
"We have electric bicycles this year - something we have never had before," he said.
"There are also imported water features on display in the garden and the new Kia that was released this week."
More than 250 caravans, boats and camper trailers are on display with luxury a big factor in the displays.
"They are $70,000, which is a lot of money, but when you open the door you can't believe how good they are," Mr Leech said.
"There are also some great off-road caravans and at the other end are campers, which are always popular."
The expo is on Saturday from 10am to 5pm and Sunday from 10am to 4.30pm.
