Five of Australia's top companies - Mushroom Group, Nova FM, Honda, Just Group and Leo Burnett - have planned to open their doors to five year 10 and 11 students.
Victoria University Vice-Chancellor and president, Professor Peter Dawkins said the university strived to provide work experience opportunities for all students.
"It is up to all of us to help ensure every hour of this is well spent and participants get the real world experience they need to succeed in their professional lives," he said.
"Victoria University has a long tradition of connecting students with high-profile organisations so they can gain experience."
