Wright - who won the Demons’ best and fairest last year - spent the first six rounds of the season with Bendigo Football League club Kyneton.
However, Wright was this week cleared back to the Demons from the Tigers.
“There’s no animosity between Hayden and Kyneton. He has got a lot of good mates at White Hills this year and he’s keen to come back to play with them,” White Hills coach Shaun Makepeace said
“He’ll add some real strength to our midfield, which has been inconsistent so far.”
Wright returns to a Demons’ side that last week surrendered its top-five position following a 17-point loss to Colbinabbin.
Heathcote is still to win a game, but there were encouraging signs last week when the Saints pushed Huntly all the way in a six-point defeat after a slow start.
• Lockington-Bamawm United will face a top-three side for the third week in a row.
Having disposed of Mount Pleasant (63 points) and Leitchville-Gunbower (19) the past two weeks, the unbeaten Cats now travel to North Bendigo to take on the Bulldogs in the match of the round.
• Huntly should continue its resurgence back into the season when it plays Elmore at home.
The Hawks are 2-3 and in the top five for the first time after they were involved in their third game decided by 10 points or less last week, but this time were on the right end of the result with a six-point win over Heathcote.
Bottom side Elmore has kicked 27 goals the past two weeks, but needs to stop the bleeding at the defensive end if it’s to upset the Hawks.
• Mount Pleasant tackles Leitchville-Gunbower at Toolleen in a clash of two top-five teams.
Both are on the rebound from defeats to Lockington-Bamawm United in their last games.
