The duo are part of the Diamonds team that are hoping to win its first netball gold medal in 12 years.
Diamonds netball coach Lisa Alexander sad she was confident she had picked a team that would end Australia's golden drought.
"It’s been an arduous task for the selectors and I to pick a team of 12 athletes to represent Australia; a selection that we’ve deliberated and debated endlessly to ensure we have the best team to reclaim the gold medal," she said.
Australia opens up its 2014 Commonwealth Games account against Wales on July 24 before its remaining pool matches against England, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago and South Africa.
