The left-handed opener topped the BDCA batting average with 61.3. Belted three centuries and two other scores above 50.

Another of those typical seasons from the Suns’ coach where rarely did he fail to have an impact with either the bat or his crafty leg-spinners.

Been the clear standout player this season. Won the BDCA and Addy player of the year awards and also gets the captaincy of this team.

Used to be a top-class bowler who was a handy batsman. Still a force with the ball, but made his mark this season more so for his batting.

Runner-up in the BDCA Cricketer of the Year Award. A lion-hearted competitor whose 252 overs were the most of any player this season.
8. BRAYDEN STEPIEN (White Hills)

Only 16-years-old, but the keeper-batsman is an absolute excitement machine of the BDCA. Plays with flair and dare.
9. NICK CRAWFORD (Bendigo United)

There seemed to be some doubt pre-season over the veteran playing on. But 31 wickets to go with 227 runs showed he made the right call.
10. QUINTON BENTLEY (Huntly-North Epsom)

The first-year Huntly-North Epsom coach cleaned up the BDCA’s bowling awards, winning the aggregate and the average.
LUKE BAIRD (Golden Square)
