In what was a tough and physical contest, Bendigo managed to outlast their opponents to win every quarter.
Heathcote District NA also won their fourth game of the season, defeating Loddon Valley FNL 50-42.
Heathcote District NA got off to a slow start in what was a fast-paced first quarter.
Despite the efforts of Loddon Valley’s Tahnee Cannon, Heathcote managed to come back strong into the match.
Sharp shooting from Paige Tuohey saw the team win by eight goals.
In the final round of the under-17 competition, Bendigo FNL, North Central, Echuca and District and Heathcote District NA secured their place in Sunday’s semi-final clashes.
Heathcote District NA took on North Central in the first match.
In the first three quarters of the match, both teams were scoring accurately with only two goals separating the teams.
In the end North Central managed to sustain their pressure to win 50-43.
Echuca and District also took on Bendigo FNL.
In what was pegged to be the match of the round, Bendigo came out firing with an eight goal lead at the first break.
The Ryan sisters dominated the midcourt and goals, which resulted in a 61-41 victory.
