Marketing officer Jayne Newgreen said it was a fantastic day.
“It all went really well,” she said.
“There was a big crowd and lots of happy stallholders with some who even sold out of all of their produce.
“There was a really good atmosphere.
“The weather was kind.”
To mark the occasion there was a bumper barrow raffle with a multi-drawer of 10 prizes donated by local businesses.
There were also a series of Meet the Farmer talks and a raffle for three rare pigs.
Gillian Sweetland, one of the market founders, says the motivation behind starting the market 10 years ago was to "stem the demise of the small town and create a legacy to underpin the livelihood of its old and new residents".
"It's obvious that the dedication was infectious and I am very proud of the community's success."
The market is on the third Sunday of every month.
