Friday sees the Cornish part of the festival get underway from 10am while the Bendigo Art Society exhibition will open at 7.30pm at the Wes Vine Performance Centre in Reserve Street. The exhibition continues all weekend.
The Gala Fair runs from 10am on Saturday in Canterbury Park.
Also running all weekend from 10am are exhibitions from the Eaglehawk Heritage Society and 12 Shed Arts (both in Sailors Gully Road) and the Folk and Decorative Art at the Eaglehawk Citizens Brass Band Room, which features The Home Cook Anne Morton.
Saturday's street procession starts at Bright Street and travels down High Street to Darling Street from 12.30pm.
The flower show is on at 1.30pm at Eaglehawk Town Hall.
Sunday is a family day with the cycling criterium at 1pm at Caldwells Road.
The festival closes on Friday, March 21, with the debutante ball and the music competition from 9am at the Brass Band Hall in Peg Leg Road on March 22.
