An original shopfront from the 1860s, situated on 500 square meters on Main Road, will be auctioned off today.
The quirky single-room structure, which is brick rendered with remains of a timber lean-to, is yearning for restoration to bring it back to its former glory.
Agent Danielle Johnson said it had been a dressmakers, a barbers and there are rumours of it once being a bank.
“There is a lot of history,” she said.
“It is an interesting lot.
“There is a 6 x 10 metre steel shed at the back with a concrete floor that the owner has been using.
"But the building has just been sitting there.
“It is just one room. But there is potential to build another building on the land subject to council approval."
The property is zoned township and there is a heritage overlay.
