Players who are interested in playing for the under-20 and open men's teams have been invited to attend a training session and information night at the Epsom-Huntly Recreation Reserve from 6.30pm.
Steve Martin, the only Bendigo soccer product to play in the National Soccer League, will put the players through their paces.
The session will include a fitness and skills component and some match simulation.
The session will be used to identify players from the region who are looking to take the next step and play at the highest level in the state.
Official trials for the senior team will start after a head coach is appointed.
Football Federation Victoria announced last Friday that the Bendigo Amateur Soccer League had been granted one of 30 licences for the new NPLV competition.
The fixtures for the new competition will be released on February 26.
Bendigo will field eight teams across the competition, including juniors.
