Temperatures are expected to exceed the 38 degree limit set by Tennis Australia for play.
The BTA will make their final decision at 11am on Saturday.
If matches proceed, BLTC Metro will take on BLTC Noonan Electrical.
Metro will have high hopes of overtaking BLTC Rising Sun, who have the bye, and currently sit seven points ahead of Metro.
Metro youngsters Zac Lethlean, Isaac Watson and Ryan Leader take on Noonan Electrical’s Ben Noonan, Sam Storer and Jono Guy.
On the women’s side, the Mein twins, Steph and Maddy, will go up against Metro’s pair of Rebecca Tweed and Tova Penno.
Penno is having an outstanding season, currently in fourth spot on the BTA websites list of player rankings, having won 25 of her 30 sets for the year.
Prediction: Metro to win 9 sets to 3.
Spring Gully Bigpond is also up against Spring Gully Brougham Arms.
Brougham Arms will look to extend their nine point lead at the top of the ladder.
The reason for Brougham Arms success this season has been their depth.
According to the BTA's playing rankings the team has three of their regulars in the top 10 players in the competition.
Prediction: Brougham Arms to prevail 8 sets to 4.
