The club, which turns 90 this year, is hoping to attract new members to their community club.
Quarry Hill Golf Club secretary Trevor Cox said the club was in the process of improving their facilities and course.
“We just completed automatic sprinkler system on the front nine holes,” he said.
“There will be an improvement in the front nine; it will be a lush green in the summer and hopefully the full 18 holes in the winter.”
Cox said the values of the club hadn’t changed since it was founded by Sir John Quick in 1924.
“To this present day the club is indebted to its members for volunteer assistance in court maintenance and upkeep,” he said.
“We take pride in affordable golf and we want the course to be a place where anyone can play, of all abilities.
“It is for the community and always will be for the community.”
In 2015 the club will host the Victorian Sand Greens Championships with more than 150 golfers from across Victoria and interstate taking part.
Cox said if anyone wanted to join the club they could call him on 0434 873 304.
