Wins have been few and far between for Elmore in recent years - it won just four games the previous four years.
However, the side has found form, with wins in its past two games over Dingee and Goornong.
Last week's win, in particular, was a massive upset considering Dingee sits on top of the ladder and had gone into the match on an eight-game winning streak.
Elmore now faces another of the premiership contenders in second-placed Calivil.
Calivil has won six of its past seven games, but won't be under-estimating Elmore.
