Susan Hamilton, 18, and Eve Godber, 18, will perform in their last ever Bendigo Christmas carols after both decided they would step away from the choir due to other commitments.
Ms Hamilton, who has been involved in the choir for 11 years said it would be difficult to leave.
"I have enjoyed singing but also the sense of family and life-long friendships I have made from the choir," she said.
"Everyone is really supportive and it's just been great."
Ms Godber has been part of the choir for eight years and said it has given her the opportunity to travel to nationally and internationally.
"I have been to Tasmania, the United States and Europe," she said.
"The choir has given me opportunities that I would never had got, had I not joined."
Both girls said they were honoured to be taught by choir founder Valerie Broad and the other conductors.
