Martin finished eighth at the Sandhurst Golf Club in Melbourne and progresses with 22 others to the final stage next week at Peninsula, starting Tuesday.
Martin capped a consistent three days with a par final round of 72, to finish even-par for the first stage.
He scored 74 on the opening day and 70 on day two.
Friday's round included two birdies and a double-bogey.
Amateur Callan O'Reilly and Raymond Beaufils led the field at seven-under for the tournament.
Martin will tee-off in Saturday's Bendigo Golf Club's Christmas Challenge.
