St Luke's is starting to plan the gifts needed for families and children who visit the annual St Luke’s Christmas Shop.
Boutique floristry store owner Frankie Opie recently donated a decorated Christmas tree to the cause.
“It’s a simple gesture, but it may have a big effect for a family in need of some festive cheer," she said.
Christmas Appeal organiser Sue Tupper said St Luke’s was very grateful for all the donations it received.
“This lovely Christmas tree has been placed in the St Luke’s Early Years Centre,” Ms Tupper said.
“Frankie’s donation is a great example of what our community can do to brighten up December and lighten the load for some of our community’s most vulnerable families.”
