The festive event, hosted by the Lions Club of Kangaroo Flat, will go ahead despite the rain.
It has fun for all the family with Yuletides sung by a choir and a free sausage sizzle from 6.30pm.
Guests include Skip and Brianna Frankel, Sean, Min and Tam, the Yanner Sisters and the Christmas Carolers with Councillor Rod Fyffe acting as master of ceremonies.
Organiser Tony Salter said it was a good line up of local talent.
"The kids will be entertained," he said.
"At this point we will be moving into the hall.
"The rain could clear up and there is still a good chance we can go outside. But we will have to wait and see.
"Either way the event will be going ahead."
The event is at the Uniting Church in Kangaroo Flat with carols beginning at 7.30pm.
