Co-convener of the event Shannon Lamb, who went to high school with Mr Scarff, said friends had donated goods.
"Local businesses have been generous," she said.
There will be a silent auction, raffles and games.
Ms Lamb said there was an Essendon jersey signed by James Hird up for grabs and a $1500 holiday house voucher for Point Lonsdale.
All money raised will go towards the Matt Scarff fundraiser, which will pay for the medical costs involved with air-lifting Mr Scarff from Bali to Australia.
Mr Scarff was punched in the back of his head in Bali after going to the aid of a woman. He was put into an induced coma before being flown to Perth last week for further medical treatment. He remains in a serious but stable condition.
The event runs from 2pm until 5pm on Sunday, December 1.
Tickets can be purchased for $10 on the day or pre-ordered through the Newmarket Hotel on 5443 3042.
