EMERGENCY services were called to a truck fire on the Calder Freeway near Macedon early Thursday morning.

A CFA spokesman said the emergency call came in at 6.43am.

"I don't know what size the truck was or what happened," he said.
"But the Macedon tanker attended and there can't have been much in it because they were only on scene for 14 minutes."
