The third annual festival will run from November 7-10, with more than 250 performances scheduled at 21 venues across Bendigo.
Internationally-acclaimed Foghorn Stringband from the United States has been secured as part of the line-up, along with Australian blues and roots favourites Geoff Achison, Lloyd Spiegel, Sal Kimber and the Rollin Wheel.
Festival director Colin Thompson said the event would culminate in a free concert at Rosalind Park on Saturday November 9.
The family-friendly event will feature 16 acts, on two stages, set up in the park.
“This event is always a highlight, offering a chance to sample some of the amazing acts that will also be performing gigs at Bendigo venues across the weekend,” he said.
“Down-home rockers Collard Greens and Gravy will be bringing the grit, international troubadour Carus Thompson the soul, and Josh Owen will be indulging his love of reggae with long time collaborator and phenomenal percussionist Jason Heerah.
“Festival goers will be able to park themselves on the grass, sit back and enjoy an afternoon of musical discovery.”
A highlight of the festival will be the conversion of Bendigo's historic trams into Blues Trams.
Performers, such as Hailey Calvert, Genevieve Chadwick and Claude Hay will jump upon the trams and perform live music.
Bendigo's historic Goldmines Hotel will host a series of workshops and JoJo Smith will share her thoughts on song writing.
Mr Thompson said the Foghorn Stringband would boost Bendigo's knowledge of Cajun music and duet old-time singing.
“These are just a couple of the once in a lifetime musical opportunities festival goers will be able to experience as part of our program this year,” he said.
Some of the festival venues include the Black Swan Hotel, The Exchange, the Golden Vine Hotel, The Wine Bank, the One Tree Hill Hotel and many more.
