It’s been another busy week here, with us starting our pre-season games.
We played two games this week.
The first was at home in Cleveland versus the Milwaukee Bucks.
The arena we play in is called the Quicken Loans Arena, also known as the ‘Q’.
It has a capacity of 20,500 so it’s pretty big!
It was cool to pull on the real, full uniform for the first time.
They include the snap away tracksuit pants which are pretty sweet.
We had a good team effort to get the win 99-87.
We had our first road trip for the year to Orlando.
Andy (Anderson Varejao) took Sergey (Karasev) and I out to dinner, at Andy’s favourite Brazilian place.
The other people at dinner were joking that we were going to get sick of eating at this restaurant with him because he finds one of these places in almost every city to eat at.
The food was awesome, so I don’t think we would get sick of it!
We had a sluggish first half defensively against the Magic but definitely picked it up in the second half.
It was good to get in the last quarter at the end and help the team get the win.
The number one draft pick, Anthony Bennett (pictured), was on fire in the 4th quarter, scoring 14 points.
It was cool to see the starters getting excited for the rookies out there in the last quarter!
We ended up winning 110-105.
After the game we hopped on a bus and went straight to the plane and got back to Cleveland later that night.
We are lucky we get travel back to Cleveland straight after the game.
It was good to help the team get the win

I’ve decided that I’m going to learn how to play the guitar this year as a hobby in my spare time.
I had a few lessons when I was younger but never got too far with it.
I had the chance to see a Jack Johnson concert a few weeks ago and got inspired!
He has always been one of my favourite musicians.
My NBL Dream Team scored 271 points this week, did anyone beat that?
A couple of questions I got on Twitter:
@Aussie_in_DC: Did you ever play in the Shepparton tournament and did you beat the Gators?
Yeah I played in the Shepparton tournament many times with the Bendigo Braves.
We also had club championships there as well.
We were lucky enough to win it a couple of times!
@gingeerella: Hey bro, can you dunk?
Yeah I can, thanks for asking!
@timmartin89- on a list of best centres you’ve played with, where would I rank? #surelytop10
Your top age U/ 14 season would have to rank up there with the best!
If anyone has anything they would like to hear about or some questions, I’ll answer a couple each week, so you can tweet to me @matthewdelly.
Thanks! Have a good week everyone!
