Golfers from Axedale, Belvoir Park, Bendigo, Castlemaine, Dunolly, Eaglehawk, Elmore, Heathcote, Jarklin, Kyneton, Mount Alexander, Neangar Park and Quarry Hill were on the fairways and greens at the Epsom course.
Playing on her home course, Bendigo’s Yvonne Boyd scored 36 points to win A-grade (handicap 0-19) on a countback from Quarry Hill’s Mavis Kiel.
Bendigo’s Janet Rogers triumphed in B-grade (20-24).
Rogers scored 39 points as Castlemaine’s Rosalie Roberts finished runner-up on 35 points.
In C-grade (25-40), Sandy Ellis completed a winning treble for the host club as she scored 42 points.
Runner-up was Joan Teggerth from Elmore on 34 points.
Nearest the pin winners:
12th, A-grade: Maz Campbell, Bendigo.
17th, B-grade: Helen Gee (Neangar Park).
Second shot at 16th, C-grade: Robyn MacRae (Kyneton).
