The 36-year-old Bendigo resident lends a hand to the Planned Activity Group which is facilitated by the City of Greater Bendigo.
“I help out once a week,” she said.
“We get in a bus, go and pick up all the participants, help them on and off the bus, serve them morning tea, help them with the activities, and serve them lunch,” she said.
“There’s a disabled group as well as a ladies group which is made up of elderly ladies that still live at home.
“I really enjoy doing it.”
Ms Willcox said it was rewarding work.
“I love it,” she said.“They are looking for more volunteers so anyone who is interested in volunteering should consider it.
“It’s a social outlet for me and I also get to meet new people which is great.”
