The school community will celebrate 100 years since the official opening of the original school building.
Deputy principal Ebony Maltby said it was important for students to learn about the school’s history.
“It is good for the kids to learn about the history and heritage of their school,” she said.
“In the lead-up to the centenary celebrations we have been immersing the students (in vintage literature and education).”
Ms Maltby said students would dress in period costumes on Thursday and take part in olden-day games and dancing and cooking sessions.
She said students would hear from past students and teachers and learn about how the school had changed over the years.
A community mass will be held on April 19 at the Liborius Centre, from 9.15pm to 11am, and the local community is invited to attend.
The St Liborius Reunion and Annual Ball will take place on April 20. Tickets must be bought from the school office by Wednesday.
Tickets cost $50 for singles and $90 for doubles and include a two-course meal and entertainment.
The centenary celebrations will conclude on Sunday with a mass at St Liborius Church from 10.30am.
