Having previously had the pleasure of meeting you pertaining to other issues and found you a person of great empathy for local issues, and a great willingness to take up these issues on behalf of the constituents, you have gained great respect within the community.
But I find your comments about state Treasurer Kim Wells on various issues beneath you, Ms Edwards. When one seeks to criticise any person, one has to look back on their own political party’s performance of the
12 years of the Bracks, Brumby era. It’s a shame you seek to travel down the path of mud raking, Ms Edwards. It will only taint your standing in the community. There is an old saying: “people in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones”.
A person who wishes to improve their standing within the community must at all times have a high moral, ethical, and personal integrity.
So please, Ms Edwards, leave the mud raking to the federal Labor mob.
