BLTC Shish look set to finish on top of the Premier League ladder as it takes on Spring Gully Brougham Arms on courts 9, 10 and 11.
Brougham Arms captain Jamie Brown will face a huge task against Shish captain Curt Garwood.
Jess Hartland and Ash Baker will go head to head in what should be an entertaining singles match.
Both teams will give it their all, but greater prizes are in mind as the finals loom.
Shish will have too much talent and should cruise to an 8-4 win, and top spot to go along with it.
Spring Gully Butterflies play South Bendigo Metro on courts 2, 7 and 8.
The Butterflies need a big win to achieve top spot, but the Metro, although being on the bottom of the ladder, will not roll over.
Metro has a solid men’s line-up, which should restrict the Butterflies from a big win.
Matt Hartland and Andrew Lethlean’s singles battle will be a highlight.
The Butterflies will emerge victorious, but only by a margin of seven sets to five.
BLTC Rising Sun play Spring Gully Bigpond on courts 1, 5 and 6.
The Rising Sun is in full preparations for the finals by being locked into third spot on the ladder.
Bigpond look to have avoided the wooden spoon in what has become a disappointing year.
Jack Baker and Jayde Davis are out for Bigpond, so Eliza Long will have to be on for Bigpond to have a chance.
Terry Smith and Michael Smyth will line up for the Rising Sun, while Zoltan Smyth and Fraser McCarthy will provide lower-order support.
Bigpond’s number one woman Heather Robbins will have a tough time against Rebecca Tweed, and overall the Rising Sun should have a comfortable 8-4 victory.
In section two, second-placed Spring Gully Sensation takes on fifth-placed Spring Gully Stingers in the match of the day.
The Stingers are desperately hoping to make the finals as they sit only two points behind Spring Gully Phoenix going into this round.
