Family and friends from around the state came together for an afternoon of reminiscence and laughter to commemorate Tom’s milestone.
“I don’t feel any different. I am a bit slower and have a bit less energy than I used to have, but it is all good,” Mr Watt said. “It is just another day at the office.”
A member from the Bendigo Highland Pipe Band performed songs throughout the afternoon.
Mr Watt was born and raised in Golden Square said he got involved with horses later in life. His father was a horseman so he grew up with horses around him.
“Up until a couple of months ago I was training horses, I still have horses at home and hopefully they will be trained by me too.”
Tom’s wife Alma reached the same milestone last November. The pair have two children, four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
