Three large trampolines will be set up in the mall for children aged between two and 12-years-old to play on as the last week of school holidays gets under way.
An inflatable amusement will also be set up later in the week for children to enjoy.
City of Greater Bendigo customer support manager Debbie Thewlis hoped the mall attraction would be the perfect place to take the children before school was back.
“Some parents might be finding it difficult to fill in the last week of holidays so we thought it would be a good idea to use the space we have in the mall to do something,” she said.
Ms Thewlis said free event would run from today until Friday.
“We have used the trampolines in the mall before and they were pretty popular, so hopefully families can come to the mall,” she said.
“I would like to reiterate that people should also be mindful of the hot weather and be sun-smart.”
The city’s acting public spaces activation officer Karen Cresswell encouraged Bendigo residents not to miss this opportunity.
“It would be great to see Bendigo families and visitors to the region visiting the mall and making the most of the free entertainment,” she said.
The trampolines will be available between from 10am today until 2pm on Friday. ?
