This is the newest addition to our HO scale rail layout on display at the Maryborough Flour Mill Gallery, 38 Albert Street, Maryborough.
Carved from Hebel brick, we believe this is the only one of its kind in the world and at this time is only half finished, but is an impressive display just the same.
The station is HO scale, we believe the Victorian Model Rail Institute is creating a HO scale display for their new layout, but we here in Maryborough now have double the opulence. Whoever thought, two stations of this kind in the one town.
The project took several weeks of measuring, planning and drawing until we got to the carving stage which was done on Christmas Day. This will be a permanent display at the Flour Mill.
We put a progress of the creating on our Facebook site http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.302791429832895.66469.144893322289374&type=3
