Camino, who also plays for the Bendigo Spirit in the WNBL, said she felt settled in Bendigo and would play for the Lady Braves if fiancé Tom Garlepp is released by NBL club the Sydney Kings to play for the Bendigo Bank Braves next season.
“To play for the Lady Braves in 2013 was a priority for me and I am thrilled that I will be able to do that,” Camino said.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in Bendigo over the past year and am looking forward to next season and the hope of advancing further into playoffs in 2013.”
The 26-year-old is currently returning to her best form with the high-flying Spirit after battling a calf injury which caused her to miss the start of the WNBL season.
Lady Braves coach Jonathan Goodman was pleased to have Camino back for 2013.
“To be able to sign the reigning league MVP is as huge for us as it is for the community of Bendigo,” he said.
“We all know what Renae can do on the court to benefit the team, but off the court she is a great person to have around the club and has embraced the Bendigo community perfectly.”
Camino averaged 18.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game last SEABL season.
