REVELLERS are risking their lives trying to get back in to pubs and clubs after the 2am lock-out.Partygoers have been caught attempting to enter the Black Swan and Universal by climbing the back entrances and nearby buildings.Black Swan owner Andreas Bazzani said he was concerned that someone would eventually be seriously hurt or killed.Mr Bazzani said he and two police officers recently went into the roof cavity to pull two men out who had climbed into the roof.“They’re trying to get into either the Black Swan or Universal,” he said.“Generally they’re people who have missed out on curfew and are stuck out on the street.“A lot of them have been drinking at home and then decide to come into town. They realise they’ve missed lock-out and they’re in a confused state.“Or their friends are inside.“The back of the business isn’t set up for people to climb onto the roof but where there’s a will there’s a way.”Mr Bazzani said those who were caught entering illegally would be dealt with by the courts.“They’re illegally on the premises and will be prosecuted,” he said.“People just need to think before they do it.“No one wants to see anyone end up in a wheelchair or dead.”Bendigo police said they were aware of people trying to enter licensed premises illegally.Acting Seageant Ilan Livingston said if operators were having any problems they should contact police.
