THE anonymous organiser of a secret warehouse party has rebounded from a setback to his original plans with a proposal he says will make for a bigger and better event.
The man ran afoul of city planners after going public with his plan to host Bendigo’s first secret warehouse party, but has now secured a venue which meets planning requirements.
“This venue is a lot bigger than the other, where it had 300 this one can hold 2000… so there’s the potential for a really big crowd,” he said.
One thing remains the same despite the venue change – it’s still a secret.
Tickets go on sale at 9am this Tuesday, with the location still TBA.
The organiser – who asked his name be withheld – encouraged party goers to get in early.
“Basically, the more people buy tickets, the better the acts are going to be,” he said.
Typical of his secretive approach, the man said that an early sell-out would lead a special surprise.
“If we sell 2000 tickets quickly, than we we’d be looking at booking a very big artist,” he said.
Party goers can follow the Warehouse Party Bendigo - Secret Location Facebook post for updates.
When this article was published, more than 1000 people had said they would be attending.
