Since 1999-2000, 860 players have batted in a BDCA first XI match, but Humphrys is just the 12th who has scored centuries in consecutive matches.
Recruit Humphrys has wasted no time in making his mark on the BDCA, with his first two innings for his new club Bendigo scores of 115 n.o. against Huntly-North Epsom and 136 against Bendigo United.
Of the 12 players who have scored consecutive centuries since 1999-2000, three have done it multiple times – Bendigo United’s Heath Behrens (three), Kangaroo Flat’s Tony Taig (twice) and Sandhurst’s Nick Scullie (twice).
