Kerr will play a one-off game for Dunolly against Maldon in the Maryborough-Castlemaine District Football-Netball League in round six on June 3.
“This will be a very big day for the club. We’re very excited to welcome Daniel to the club,” Dunolly secretary Marion De Costa said on the MCDFNL website.
Kerr’s appearance for the Eagles will coincide with the club’s sponsors day.
Kerr, now 33, played 220 AFL games for the Eagles, including the 2006 grand final win over Sydney, and was an All-Australian in 2007.
Among the initiatives of the Eagles, coached by Darren Smith, is a new incentive-scheme for players in lieu of match payments.
