OPTUS has apologised for interruptions to its services in Bendigo, with customers reporting issues with voice and text, email and internet functions.

A spokesperson said Optus had identified a fibre break in Victoria which was affecting some customers.
Outages have been reported in suburbs including Strathfieldsaye, Junortoun, Flora Hill, Quarry Hill, White Hills, Ironbark, and Maiden Gully.
“Optus technicians are investigating the location of the break and will work to have services restored as soon as possible,” the Optus spokesperson said.
“Optus apologises to affected customers and thanks them for their patience while services are being restored”.
