A man in his 80s has been taken to Bendigo Base Hospital after a single vehicle crash on the Bendigo-Maryborough Road.
Police say the man was travelling west along the road towards Eddington, just after the turnoff to Carisbrook, when his car veered left of the road. It then hit a post and veered onto the right side of the road, coming to rest when it hit a tree.
The vehicle, which was a red Holden Commodore, was extensively damaged.
Police, ambulance, CFA and SES attended the scene.
Update, 12.20pm:
Paramedics are assessing a man in his 70s after a single vehicle rollover on the Bendigo-Maryborough Road.
Paramedics were called to the scene of the crash shortly before midday on Wednesday.
Midday:
Emergency services are attending the scene of a crash on the Bendigo-Maryborough Road at Eddington.
Emergency services were called to the scene at about 11.50am on Wednesday.
Four vehicles are currently responding to the crash.
