Harvey will lead the girls and White will coach the boys, with the tournament being played on home soil at Bendigo Stadium from Friday to Sunday.
Sixteen associations will vie for honours in the boys and girls championship divisions, with Harvey feeling confident about the chances of each Braves team.
“We’ll play three games on Friday and the goal is to keep advancing through to Sunday,” he said.
“The boys have a great chance under Jack White and so do the girls.
“But it’s a long weekend for nine and 10-year-old kids – they’re potentially playing nine games, so anything can happen.”
The girls’ team has lost just one game since coming together in September, which happened to be the final of the Bendigo Classic in January.
“We didn’t shoot the ball well that night, but they’re a great bunch of kids and it’s been a pleasure coaching them the last six months,” he said.
“They’ve learned a lot, but more importantly are having fun.
“This weekend is a great opportunity for them to advance their basketball and continue to have fun.”
Both the boys and girls teams play in the Bendigo Basketball Association competition at under-14 level.
The Braves boys won their Bendigo Classic final 27-26 against Warrnambool Seahawks.
