Strathdale-Maristians, Sandhurst and Golden Square – who are separated by just four points – all have their finals berths secured, with the final piece of the puzzle whether it will be Bendigo, Kangaroo Flat or possibly long-shot Eaglehawk which snares the last spot in the top four.

Following an action-packed day two of round 12 on Saturday, fourth-placed Bendigo – which has sat inside the top four all season so far – is now just three points clear of Kangaroo Flat.
The Roos (9-292) kept their finals hopes alive thanks to a last-ball win against White Hills (8-289) at the QEO.
Roos’ skipper Brent Hamblin (61 n.o.) struck Demons’ captain Mitch Winter-Irving through the covers for four off the final ball of the match to secure Kangaroo Flat the six points.

Meanwhile, Bendigo kept the door to the top four ajar after it was routed for just 58 by Golden Square at Wade Street.
Chasing Square’s 175 the Goers had been 9-29.
In other results on Saturday, Sandhurst recorded a reverse outright victory against Huntly-North Epsom.
Eaglehawk, which is nine points outside the top four, had to settle for a first innings win against Strathfieldsaye, which denied the Hawks’ outright bid.
And Strathdale-Maristians beat Bendigo United in the top v bottom clash.
