Action hits off at 7pm where the fifth-placed BTC Taipans will aim to strike against the second-placed Strathfieldsaye.
Just four points adrift of Spring Gully Strath Eppalock Butterflies on the league ladder, Taipans face a crucial test.
A strong Strathfieldsaye squad includes Aidan Fitzgerald, Michael Smyth, Nick Bath, Tova Penno and Lachlan Perdon.
When these teams last met, Taipans scored a three-game victory on a day where Ryan Michell, Cameron Lilburn and Dom Barton started.
Based on form and ladder positions, Spring Gully Strath Eppalock Butterflies, South Bendigo and BTC Cobras will all start favourites in the other three round 13 contests.
Butterflies have a 5-5 record and will be determined not to lapse against Castlemaine, 2-8.
The unbeaten South Bendigo should chalk up its 11th victory when it faces BTC Growl Weightlifting.
The third-placed BTC Cobras take on Spring Gully Words and Pictures Photography.
BTC’s winning margin was just four games in its previous hit-out with Words and Pictures.
Meanwhile, Quest Bendigo-backed section one is on Saturday from 1pm at Bendigo Lawn Tennis Club in Barnard Street.
Spring Gully Phoenix takes on BTC Infants.
Spring Gully Net Assets clash with BTC Stingers.
Axedale faces Spring Gully Panthers.
