After going winless through its first three games Bendigo reeled off five victories in a row – four of them by double-figure margins – leading into the mid-season break.
Ladder-leader Kangaroo Flat – which belted Bendigo by 32 shots in round two – lost its final game before the break to Bendigo East by 20 shots, which has closed the buffer between top spot and fourth to just 12 points.
