The Bendigo District Cricket Association will play West Gippsland, Sunraysia and South West in its three pool matches at Melbourne Country Week next month.

Relegated to division two after finishing last in provincial group last year, Bendigo will play in gold group from February 19-23. Green group includes Shepparton, Leongatha and Ferntree Gully.

Bendigo starts its campaign against last year’s division three champions West Gippsland at Yarrambat.

Round two is against Sunraysia at Bill Lawry Oval in Northcote, while the third match is against South West at Greenvale.

The top two teams in each pool at the completion of the three preliminary rounds qualify for the semi-finals on Thursday, February 22, with the final to be played at Plenty Valley the following day.

The bottom two teams in each pool play in elimination finals on the Thursday and the losing teams will be relegated to division three in 2019.
