After opening its doors in 1987, Sharon Allan’s CV Dance Studio has had thousands of students go through the school.
“We have had some go onto national ballet schools and be in professional musical theatre shows. It’s been fantastic,” she said.
To celebrate the milestone, the studio’s annual recital will showcase 30 years of music and dance spanning from 1987 to 2017.
“From hip hop to tap, jazz and ballet – there will be all different genres,” Ms Allan said.
“We had our dress rehearsal on Tuesday and have just got it right. There are lots of stunning costumes, colour and fun.”
Ms Allan said more than 120 dancers will take part in the show.
“Our youngest performer has just turned 1 and our oldest is 76. I might even do a performance myself.”
CV Dance Studio’s 30 Years recital is on at The Capital from 2pm on Saturday.
