While the Bureau of Meteorology might have recorded less than 40mm of rain in one day, and 57mm for the month, it was more than enough to change the city for a short time.
In Nolan Street in particular, water not only licked at the wheels of cars, but rose steadily to touch the doors.

Then, fast-forward to present day. The Bureau of Meteorology is predicting up to 70mm of rain on both Friday and Saturday for Bendigo.
