Jayson Donaldson, one of the organisers of the festival, said aesthetically Rosalind Park provided a more pleasant atmosphere than the first location of Tom Flood Oval, with people able to sit down on the grass to enjoy their meals.
Being closer to the CBD, Mr Donaldson said he had also observed many people continuing their evenings in surrounding establishments after leaving the festival.
Ahead of the gates opening on Sunday, he said numbers appeared to be similar to the first event in May, although it seemed more children and families had attended this time around.

The festival is also slightly bigger in its second time in the city, with three more vendors.
Gate entry on Sunday will be donated to three local causes: a leadership and wellbeing program at Kangaroo Flat Primary School, a beach camp run by California Gully and Quarry Hill primary schools for children who have never been to the seaside, and the Hindsight Club.
The Bendigo Blues and Roots Festival is taking charge of entertainment on Sunday.
Gates are open until 11.30pm.
