Both teams will also have the added motivation of coming off defeats last week, with the Gully going down to Sedgwick and the Rangas defeated by United.
Both were far from impressive with the bat last game – Maiden Gully all out for 97 in its first innings and Mandurang bowled out for 151, so it’s hard to tip either side with any confidence.
Last time: Maiden Gully 9-223 d Mandurang 7-212.
Tip: Mandurang.
SEDGWICK v GOLDEN GULLY
Two teams with contrasting records after five games – the Rams are 4-1, the defending premier Cobras 1-4.
Given they’ve only passed 130 once in their five games so far, tough to see the Cobras causing the Rams too many problems at Club Court.
Last time: Sedgwick 7-247 d Golden Gully 122.
Tip: Sedgwick.
SPRING GULLY v MARONG
The Crows continue to prove the competition pace-setters following another strong performance against Golden Gully last round.
The Crows only won five games last season, but already this campaign are 5-0 on the back of strong performances with both bat and ball.
There have been three centuries scored in the EVCA so far, two of them by Crows players – Joel Bish (105) and Lachlan Brook (102).
Would be a massive upset if the Crows were to be beaten given the Panthers are mired to the bottom of the ladder without a win.
Last time: Spring Gully 4-182 d Marong 9-170.
Tip: Spring Gully.

Last time: United 1-231 d West Bendigo 7-130.
Tip: United
