The owner of a Kangaroo Flat business says she is disheartened after being the target of thieves not once, but three times in a week.
Staff at Jumpz Trampoline Park found their workplace had been broken into on Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday nights, with the culprits making off with thousands of dollars in equipment and cash.
Owner Samantha Williams estimates the loss to the business to be about $50,000 and is not sure what insurance will cover.
Laser guns, TVs, iPads, a laptop, about 2000 tokens and thousands of dollars of cash have all be stolen and security cameras, cafe displays and cabinets have all been smashed with a wrench.
“I thought it was a joke at first,” Ms Williams said. “It was just disheartening – it just makes the financial stress of having a small business... it just doubles it.”
Police have identified the offenders behind the first two burglaries, but investigations remain ongoing into the third.
Ms Williams said the business had clear CCTV vision of all the offenders and would be exhausting every option to make sure they were caught.
“Not just for us but for our next door neighbours as well – it’s just not tolerated,” she said.
Security has also been strengthened at the business since the burglaries, including extra patrols and upgraded cameras.
