More than 130 students from Girton Grammar’s junior school wore face paint and detailed costumes this week for their production of The Lion King.

The popular Disney musical was brought to life by director Mandy Ellison.
“It's really Disney's Lion King but it is essentially a shortened version of the Broadway musical,” she said.
“Anita Scott created things for us and I love the fact we got all the African tribal prints and colours to go with the theme of the show.
“The Lion King is everyone's favourite musical from every age group and it is a great production to allow 130 kids on stage at once.
“It also has the awe factor for Can You Feel the Love Tonight. Love wins every time.”
